Get answers to common questions about Stomach Wax.
Stomach wax results usually last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, skin type, and aftercare. Regular treatments can extend smoothness and lead to finer regrowth, making future sessions more comfortable and longer-lasting.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on initial visits, but our trained therapists use fast technique and soothing wax to minimize pain. Applying numbing gels, breathing methods, and post-care reduces sensitivity. Experience typically improves with regular treatments.
Avoid heavy exfoliation, sun exposure, and blood-thinning medications 24-48 hours before waxing. Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long. Clean, moisturized skin helps, but skip lotions or oils on treatment day. Arrive comfortably dressed for easy access.
Apply a cool compress and avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise for 24 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid exfoliation for 48-72 hours. Wear breathable clothing and use SPF if exposing treated area to sun.
Minor redness or bumps are normal immediately after waxing but usually subside within 24-48 hours. Ingrown hairs can occur, but regular exfoliation after the healing period and professional technique greatly reduce risk. We provide aftercare advice to prevent complications.
Many providers permit waxing during pregnancy after the first trimester, but sensitivity increases. We recommend consulting your obstetrician first. Tell your therapist about pregnancy or breastfeeding so we can adjust pressure, positioning, and techniques to maximize comfort and safety.
